2020: Year in Review

Pockets of Love

Hey 2020…what can we say about you? It was certainly a strange 10th year in business but I’m going to skip ragging on you in regards to all the bullshit that went on in the world and instead talk about your pockets of love. And there were plenty to be had…

Personally, I’m normally running around like a mad man during the busy summer months and with two thirds of my 2020 wedding couples rescheduling to 2021, I had the wonderful opportunity to slow way down as many of us did. This couldn’t have come at a better time considering my wife Kristen and I started our family as our son Matteo was born January 1, 2020 on New Year’s Day. Through my son’s life and as a new father, I’ve come to find a new level of appreciation for what it is we have in life and sincerely try to carry this into all aspects of my life as well as remind myself of this daily.

Speaking of appreciation – even with all the rescheduling of 2020, I still managed to find myself photographing thirteen weddings from Buffalo, NY to Washington D.C., a number of commercial headshot sessions, a handful of family sessions, a few senior sessions as well as other work I’m unable to share here for contractual reasons. My clients know that I consistently express how lucky I am to do what it is that I do in life and from the bottom of my heart thank you for trusting me to be a part of your lives in documenting them for you, I am truly grateful.

That said, here’s a few favorite moments captured in a somewhat rough order of events. I’m absolutely looking forward to 2021 and thanks so much for taking your time to view my work!
