2018: Year in Review

THANK YOU to everyone who trusted me to photograph your wedding, event or project in 2018! It was a coast to coast year photographing weddings from York, Maine to Costa Mesa, California that included a total of 31 brides and 30 grooms photographed throughout the year. The +1 bride is my wife Kristen that I photographed following our March 2018 wedding on our honeymoon (work at the start of this post). I should also mention that I feel I owe her a lot in that I truly believe the quality of my work continues to grow because of her always positive support and our love. At our wedding, I performed the song “The Luckiest” by Ben Folds and those lyrics couldn’t be anymore true…

Other 2018 highlights include, headshots for Spectrum News Buffalo, my work at Rochester Lilac Festival, a wedding workshop presented for the Central NY affiliate of Professional Photographers of America, and an interview with Buffalo Wedding Vendor. This is also the first time I make an appearance in my year in review. While I photographed weddings that had guest counts up to 500, I also photographed an elopement as the sole witness to the wedding, which was such a sincere honor. Seeing as I was the only witness, I needed to sign the paperwork and felt it necessary to set my camera down in the correct place while that played out. While I did set the shot up, all photo credit on that image is clearly the bride Samantha 🙂

Here’s to some of my favorite moments captured in 2018 in a somewhat rough order of events. Looking forward to 2019 and thanks so much for taking your time to view my work!!
